He wants to be a head coach again. As long as he stays under Saban, people will say his success is all because of Saban. If he can come to LSU and repeat the success he has at Bama that would really up his stock for a head coaching job.

Not really. If he doesn't get offered the Houston HC gig or any other, LSU will pay more than anyone else that will come calling. If he is going to be an OC, why not stay in the highest profile conference while making more money. All signs point to him not returning to Bama, no matter what, so...
I bet he ends up with the UH job. And if he won't leave after the Iron Bowl, I don't want him anyway. We need the OC hired and recruiting before the playoff is over.

I think others would be better. He would make our QBs better, but his play calling gets off sometimes. It never seems to cost Bama, but the first half of our game was a great example.
I still think money talks. If he is leaving Bama, doesn't get an HC gig, and we offer the most bread, he'll come. I just don't know if all that happens, or if he's really worth it.
