Holy shite, you are serious. Do you realize the acc has two teams, TWO in the top 25 in recruiting on average over the last 6 years.. Fla st at 5, and Clemson at 17...no one else. Guys like you are unbelievable. Miles would have owned the acc and that is a fact. In fishers sixth year, they lost by 50+, and are far underachieving.

jesus christ

Fisher is 42-10 at FSU and has a national title, and was in the CFP last fricking year.

Jamarcus Russell
EJ Manuel
Christian Ponder
Jameis Winston

what do these former college QBs have in common?

yet somehow, 3 wins, 10-25 (.286), and a DL coach is more qualified.

Some of yall are really gonna make this happen and we are all going to be right back here bitching in 3-4 years.

They are fricking stupid.

They are calling a NC calibre coach in Fisher terrible, but a DL coach is the God of the CFB world.

Thank God none of these morons will be making the hire. They would give the HC Job to any Joe Shchmo fan that tells them what they want to hear.

Oh, so he made them 1st round draft picks even though they were not that good of QB's? Even more impressive.

The man has won 3 MOTHER frickING GAMES. All he's done is shorten practice and change formations on offense. He's not reinventing the wheel here.

That's the beauty of it. Here , he doesn't have to reinvent the wheel, can just keep it rolling along.

and what about after he has won more than "3 MOTHER frickING GAME". What about if he continues to win?

I'm glad he didn't try to "reinvent the wheel". Someone already did (other than a little wobble) and it works just fine. Just needed to be balanced.

coaching circles are small, they all know each other, the fact that O hasn't had people beating down his doors all this time is what worries me the most, like the people that know more than you and I know something

probably because they are putting to much weight on the Ole Miss aspect of his career instsead of looking at his more recent successes.

Actually, I was saying why Herman isn't the man for the job when you take the "popularity contest" or "hot name obsession" out of it.

I was making 0 argument for or against CEO because that's a whole other argument.

Why does it matter how many games he wins if there are still more qualified HC who would be willing to take the job?

At the end of the day, he's a DL coach who went .286 at Ole Miss, and is currently having success with a staff he didn't hire and a team he didn't completely recruit.

LSU is a top 10 job in CFB and with the amount of money wasted on Miles, I'd think we could do better than promoting a DL coach who was run out of town by Ole Miss.

He's going to rely on having top notch coordinators every year, and sometimes that just isn't easy to have. Ex: Kevin Steele.

Oh, it won't take that long. Next year is going to be tough and Coach O ain't going to have what it takes to get it done. But I've been told that he's the next Bill Belichick and Pete Carroll combined so my expectations are going to be really high.

I'd argue you are overlooking a TERRIBLE tenure at Ole Miss.

It'd be different if he had done so-so. But it was fricking awful. Like, god awful. As in 0 conference wins his last season awful.

An offensive minded HC gets criticized for his defensive performance, but we want to hire a DL coach due to the offensive performance over the last 3 weeks? Awesome.
Just to be clear, I'm saying hire a defensive guy because they tend to let the specialists do their job, on both sides of the ball, but especially on the offensive side. They tend to manage a program while the coaches coach.

Its like you guys aren't even smart enough to realize he is in the acc. Hell les miles coached in a much tougher conference and after 7 years had the same winning % and won a nc and played for another. FLA st was in the CFP last year because of pathetic conference and they got obliterated. So you can Jesus Christ me all you want...some of us were here when he was here. You don't lose by 40 and 50 points with superior talent. Jesus Christ.

I'd argue that you are a kid that thinks he knows it all, when in fact you know nothing. So let me ask you a question kid, what if O runs the table and wins the nc....do we still go get jimbo? Lol

Lmfo off. You really are a pathetic kid. In your world, people don't change or grow. This is comical. So even if he wins a nc this year, he shouldn't be hired because he failed at ole miss. You can't make this shite up. Good god. Lmao

You can't reason with kids. They know it all. I'm sure you are like me, and taking a wait and see attitude with O...if he earns it, hire his arse. You have the one kid in here that says wins dont matter, even if he win the nc he should not be retained. Lol

LSU is currently the 7th overall favorite to win the title, and that is sure to go up with a win over bama...but I'm sure you know more than Vegas.
