quote:No it hasn't; our offense was in reality quite successful last season, averaged over 300 yds and 30 pts a game without an established returning QB, or even one that played the full season. We had 2 different guys go over 400 yds in games.
Hasn’t our new offensive coordinator never called plays?
That argument backfired for y’all
The new coordinator is supposed to have the same scheme and philosophy as the brains behind the 2019 offense, which is what this team is set up for.
Defense on the other hand is in trouble. We lost the 2019 guy and the next guy basically ripped everything down, and we didn't have the people in place to build it back up again. We don't need a continuation, we need a FIX. Someone who knows fundamentally what to do from the ground up, and make it happen.

give him a Co-DC to help him learn
if you're a HC you don't hire a guy for DC that needs a crutch.
especially not at a $180m/yr national program that just won a title.
sorry. if Raymond wanted that job he should have left and did it elsewhere, where they're willing to take that shot. then with a proven track record you can come back.
that said... watch, he'll be the one they hire.
but just know where this broader idea came from. Ryan Clark
