I think some of you don't realize Aranda's 2.5 is a bit of an outlier.

And guess who was paying that outlier and is more than willing to keep paying that outlier?

Another name to watch on Wisc staff is Bobby April lll. Pops is already a consultant and son has pro & college experience as LB coach

Of course Arnada coached LBs here, so there’s a need

Aranda didn't get $2.5 the day he set foot on campus.

Why Jim Leonhard makes sense

He's going to be the next HC at Wisconsin whenever Chryst steps away

Chump change for a DC with 3 years experience. ok...

1.5 would make him top 10 in assistant salary
Forgive us, we just had a dude go from a film cutter in NO, to the OC in Carolina in one damn year.

World of coaching is changing quickly, the peck your way to the top way...is not the way anymore.

2 million, a chance to work with all the talent you can imagine. Seriously, Clemson, UGA, Bama, or OSU are the only similar programs, and they aint hiring.

Chryst is like 54, he has been HC for 7 years. He is going to be there for forever. Seriously, he may not think about moving away for 12-15 more years.

I grew up with April III. It’s insane where his career has gone. Knowing him as a kid I would of never of thought. He’s a great coach.

Other than Venables, Leonhard's pay isn't out of wack. In fact, he would be the highest paid assistant/coordinator at Georgia with his current salary according to the USA Today list.

I'm really getting a kick out of how so many here seem to think LSU will just offer huge money to a guy that Orgeron has probably never met in his life.

I definitely think Chryst has several years left. I also think Leonhard is his eventual replacement.
