Kiffin’s C-USA record was 26-13. At Ole Miss he’s caught lightening in a bottle with Corral. When Corral leaves, UM will be back to their 4-7 wins a season. Let Kiffin take his trash talking to Miami, I’ll take Aranda any day.

Kiffin fanboys are weird.

Dude is the CFB Kardashian. When Corral is gone, he's fricked.

Corral was benched for fricking Plumlee before Kiffin got to Oxford.

We had Les and the clown show.

Don’t need Kiffin and his dumb decisions.

Aranda, Napier, or even Campbell.

So all of the downvoters and people shitting on the idea would prefer one of these to Kiffin?

Please, explain why

And take this part of the OP to heart as well...

I’m talking about the ongoing debate over potential candidates.

Woodward works close to the vest. Before him, we had a guy who literally threw names out to the media to gauge the public’s reaction. That was an absolute nightmare. Many of us wished he worked more behind the scenes and kept the search quiet. Now we have that, but it leads to tons of speculation. That’s the byproduct of a quiet search, rampant and wild speculation. I still rather deal with this than what we had with Alleva.

Kiffin thinks he’s smarter than everyone. His ego gets in the way and he steps on his dick.

So do we really need another coach o, except this one knows offense. Seriously, what has Kiffin done in his career to warrant the LSU job.

Oh I completely agree.

I changed the title because it wasn’t the point at all. When I said too long I was talking about my own thought process as this has gone on.

I started off liking the idea of Kiffin because I want offense. It’s priority one.

But I moved away from it as more names emerged. But now I’m back to thinking there’s no reason he shouldn’t be right behind the bigger names.

Hiring Aranda or Napier over Kiffin seems crazy to me honestly.

His ego is much bigger than his talent. Otherwise, he’d be a better coach.

Dude it’s not gonna be kiffin. I know make believe is fun and all but there’s 0% chance lane kiffin will be our new coach.

I’m not saying he will be.

But if we’re looking at an Aranda or Napier hire, why shouldn’t he be? I personally think that’s a weak decision and would be short changing the program and fan base.

Hard pass. Enough with all these cartoon character look at me immature coaches. Give me a guy that's serious about building and maintaining a program. Focused on developing players and men. Somebody that can cut out the BS distractions and focus on building a solid program.

I vote Aranda. But there are plenty of other coaches that would do well here.

Kiffin has been coaching at the highest level in the most competitive environments for two decades as both a HC and high level assistant.

He’s won multiple championships as a play caller and coordinator

He hasn’t won anything relevant as a head coach, his best position is a coordinator
