Let's be honest, Rhule is bunt single at best.

Damm, if Rhule is a bunt single…you must of had a scorched earth type criticism of Ed being hired.

Campbell is flatlining hard. This year is the proof.

He just won the Fiesta Bowl last season. Four of their 5 losses this season were by one score, and the 5th was by 10. They're in every game.

Rhule didn't stay at Temple or Baylor once he rebuilt them to have a chance to "flatline".

Ah, kinda like Spencer Rattler, but everyone wanted Lincoln.

I have my own opinion on Riley and it's that we dodged a bullet. His teams are baby shite soft in the trenches. He would get destroyed in the SEC and he knows it. Not to mention Rattler is in year 2, not year 4.

Because Rhule has experienced an updated trajectory at every school he's coached at. Campbell is flatlining hard. This year is the proof.

This is hilarious. So, you think Rhule is a better coach because he never stayed anywhere long enough to have a down year?

"They're in every game." If we had lost all our games this year by one score, O would still be fired. Don't spew the moral victory stuff. Campbell lost to five teams, some more talented and some less talented. He also had a pretty damn good QB to work with this year.

By far GeauxFightingTigers1 is the worst poster on Coaching Change board. I don't even read anymore. Instant downvote

No I'm saying Rhule has taken two programs and built them from the ground up in three years. Campbell has reinvented Iowa State but seems to be flatlining. What he's done is not Fickell level or Rhule level. It's impressive but not good enough for LSU. I am still of the opinion that we can pull a better coach (Rhule, Fickell, Aranda, Kiffin). And if Woodward can't get it done then in the future we need to find someone who can.

It's the Gerry Dinardo argument....Look how okay he did at a bad program

Just a personal opinion but I think Campbell is very underrated in comparison to a lot of others. The guy can flat out motivate and coach, and he’s doing it in Ames Iowa. Young, bright coach that seems to be a genuinely good human being. I think he would do a really good job at LSU with the potential of being great. He’s far superior to Miles or O, and if he turns out to be a good recruiter in the south he’s a home run hire. I would not be upset in the least if he’s announced as the hire.

You're not really trying to compare the situations at LSU and Iowa State, are you?

Since September, everybody from the tRant to College Gameday was questioning the effort and coaching at LSU. I've never heard any of that questioned in regards to Iowa State.

It's pretty clear Campbell has become a victim of his own success. He's getting hammered for going 7-5 more than Frost is for his "GOAT 3-9 team".

This, Campbell at least shows he wants and can build something. The poster has a very low bar for what he considers flatlining as well.
