Yes because hes never been a job jumper or given a shite about money and $exton is an alter boy.

8mil and he will go anywhere....could you blame him besides his time is about up in one place.

Money wasn't a factor in him leaving the Dolphins cuz he took a paycut to come here.

Don't you think every job Coach Saban has went to has been an upgrade? Maybe his name isn't out there because he told Sexton not to be putting his name on any job offers.

He's got a perfect thing going on now so I don't see him leaving anytime soon.

I would love to have Saban as our coach, but there's no chance in hell it happens. He seems happy at Alabama, and I'd be willing to bet he retires there.

That's not really accurate. He took less per year, the overall contract was bigger, especially when he realized he would most likely get fired in the next year or 2 unless he would have made a dramatic turnaround.

Saban is not stupid. He knew that in the long run, he would make much more money coaching at Bama.

The long term contract was more at Bama but Huizenga offered him more money and more control if he had stayed. It's speculation as to whether or not he would have gotten fired.

I know he won't be here forever but some people believe he'll leave this year or next because of his past. I'm just saying that every job has been an upgrade with the exception of the last one. He obviously loves college more. If he had it to do over again, he wouldn't have left but LSUs loss is our gain.

You can bet Sexton is in there with his people. They just would not mention...SABAN! Think I read a poll that had Michigan as the top job in the country and LSU was 3rd. Bama may have been 2nd.

Nick and Terry both hate cold weather and Tuscaloosa is cold enough.

That slimy bastard will be gone as soon as the going gets tough. Once your delusional, irrational fan-base starts doing what they do, he's on the next plane out of town. See Gene Stallings, who had no history of running every 5 years when you ran him out of town cause 1 title wasn't enough.

No bigger job than the Alabama job. Why would he ever leave there. They will pay him whatever.

For the record, bama isn't the best job. USC and Texas say your nuts. It's top 10, but takes a mad man like The Angry Midget to recruit well there. At UT or USC, assuming no sanctions, you can just walk out your backdoor and fill your roster...

Because he is a duplicitous dickhead and no other decent major program in America wants him anywhere near them?

This is incredible. Perfect. Bama leaves the dignity at the door as long as they win. They require a POS crooked coach to worship in their culture..
