Seems like most want one of these 2 or bust but both have severe baggage. I know both schemes would be great but there had to be a great or good option with character. Right?

Kendal has zero baggage. This keeps coming up, and it’s guilt by association.

Briles is damage goods but runs too notch offensive pretty much ranked in top 10 every yr. the perplexing issues is he was never named in any of the rape issues at Baylor! Guilty by association is his issue. The thing with Briles it’s going to be a long time before he would be pickup for a head coaching job. He could be at LSU with top ten offensive year in and out for the foreseeable future. I would count that as a plus. I would think if Briles would be an issue if he had problems at FAU which he hasn’t. I say give the guy a chance an any whiff of impropriety the contract is null and void.

Lets be real, he was the OC for his dad during all that baylor rape nonsense. His dad obviously didn't throw his up and coming son under the bus but there is some baggage there. I want him as our OC but don't pretend there is zero baggage.

Because both have significantly better offenses than LSU has experienced since Jimbo was OC

and the position available is OC

any more questions?
