He interviewed for the Univ of Houston job a year ago and they quickly dropped him.
Rumor has it he said in the interview that if he was hired at Houston his coordinators would be Lincoln Riley and Dave Aranda.
He botched it on purpose. Just has to get interviews to make it look like he's still looking for work.

He will never change his offensive approach no matter who the offensive coordinator is. It is always Les’s offense. It cost him his job at LSU after false promises year after year. He will never change nor should any school will trust that he will change
How can Orgeron learn from his mistakes but Les Miles can't?

well he can but they know that.
I think it's pretty clear at this point that Les does not want to be a Head Coach again. Can't blame him. He took a lot of shite at LSU over the years while doing a pretty good job IMO

I think Les Miles would be a pretty good hire. I think the problem is that the Tennessee fan base would freak out over it.
Yeah, pretty sure they'd start painting shite all over that big rock.

Nobody wants a guy that was fired as head coach to be replaced by his DL coach.

Not at Tennessee but I think Les would be great at Arizona state

It looks like the one common trend with all the new college hires is youth and the chance of a slam dunk hire. I think Miles would improve their program and get them back to respectability (9-4,10-3,8-4) but everyone is looking to be the next Alabama or Clemson.

Says more about the school ban it does Miles

Are we sure les even wants a head coaching job? Is it possible he is going on the interviews and pretending to be interested so LSU keeps the checks coming?

That is correct, and look where letting the fan base control who is hired is getting them.

I think Les is an LSU guy for life now. I don’t think he takes another job in the SEC. Would be a good “save” hire for Tenn though. I wouldn’t pull for Tenn but I would pull for Les.

Hue him and let Tee Martin learn the professional way.
Les was always a pro. Can't short him that

Probably the same reason no one has hired Miles at this point...

Stop it. No one is going to hire Les, now come to terms with it!
