Make A&M and Alabama counter resign Fisher/Saban to the high price deal we pick up a lesser name coach of course for less and watch those universities overpay and put a dent in their operating budgets

For it to work to get a raise, there has to be a credible threat of leaving.
No one thinks Saban leaving is a possibility.

Pretty sure it won’t put a dent in their budget lol christ.

I get it but you don’t think their agents would not try and squeeze more money out of the situation

Bama could pay 25mil a year and not even notice it leaving.

5-8 million more is a dent no matter what
A&M is not gonna put up with three losses at $15m a year turnover would happen next coach knows they pay that much and is gonna request something similar. Prices will go up fans will be more on edge

It’s not about money at all with Saban, so there’s that.

If you give Saban 100% autonomy then who knows. I think we would have had a better shot between the Les & O debacle to get him versus now. However, what the hell do I know. Would I be surprised to see Saban announced? Nope. Do I think it’s him? Not a sure thing confident nope, but close enough.

yes but telling someone you would offer Fisher $15 mill is like when you are a 5 and tell your friends you have to pay a gazillion dollars. It's fairy dust, no one is taking that seriously

no LSU fan wants Jimbo
Posted on 11/22/21 at 1:31 pm to Hot Carl
he would take it and A&M would laugh at us and help Jimbo Pack
Posted on 11/22/21 at 1:32 pm to ThePoo
Then why all the smoke about SW gonna offer 12 for a coach people would take serious some university offering their cash cow being offered a significant raise

Jimbo has planted his flag in College Station.
