Lincoln was the OC the last two years for Stoops and help revitalize that program, hence why Stoops suggested he become HC. They were 8-5 the year before they brought in Riley. Are these players the first few years as HC for Riley not his players too considering he was recruiting a lot of them himself

I am not dismissing it, but I have seen people discredit him for that win.

I think those people are being ridiculous. It's his most recent postseason game and he beat an SEC team by 35 points?

I see absolutely no reason to pile on him for being 0-3 against those teams. Especially considering the first two were respectable games. It's not even like when Bama crushes a Mich St or an ND.

I agree with you, but Alabama was up 21-0 after the first quarter and 28-0 a few plays into the second. This game was a total blowout and never in doubt. Props to OU for putting up some points and making the final score look better on paper, though.
