Great call

Jimbo still had 3 more seasons to learn the ropes before he took over at FSU. I think we did fine for almost a decade under miles, and now might be getting Jimbo back anyway.

We didn't let the program crumble like Texas and FSU did with Brown and Bowden.

If this goes through all we really have to gripe about is not making the move last offseason, which may or may not have been squashed way above alleva's pay grade. It is a very legitimate gripe though

Saban to miles to Jimbo... could do a lot worse than that, all have Chrystal Footballs. USC, Michigan, Notre Dame, Texas, Florida, and many others wish they had that problem.

Idiots that think a coach can't be good until he has been a head coach at some lower power 5 school happened

Jimbo wanted to beat the shite out of miles in that 2006 auburn game. We had Jamarcus russel and 3 nfl wrs in Dwayne bowe, early doucet, and craig Davis. Jimbo wanted to air it out but miles wanted the defense to win the game and run power game with alley Broussard 2 yards and a cloud of dust the whole game until the last couple of minutes. Miles overruled him the whole game until the last couple of minutes when we had no choice but to throw the ball. We went down field in no time but once again we ran out of time. That was when jimbo said freak it I'm gone at the end of the season. I'm still pissed about that game.

This is putting it mildly. People hated Jimbo's guts by the time he left. Does anybody remember this place after the Auburn game in ' 06?

Thus. This. This. The whole state cheered when he left. And now we are begging him back. Ridiculous. Crap hire.

The LSU fanbase's opinion of Fisher today is MUCH different than it was when he was the OC.

Yea the fan base hated him when he left because we had no idea at the time that Miles was interfering with his play calling. I remember thinking "Man, this guy was great under Saban."
