They told him he had to keep certain guys on staff apparently. Why in the hell would you walk into a job where one hand is tied behind your back and you’ve not even signed the dotted line?

Right.

Let's go with that. The job was good enough for Harsin but not little Billy Napier.

He betted on O failing and getting fired and his media goons now pushing him for lsu job. Which if he doesn't get has convinced the Napier fan boys that he is sabans replacement.

Napier sprinted away from a job he knew he couldn't handle. Simply knew he wasn't capable of being successful at a top-15 job.

Lol so he should just take a job that doesn’t even allow him to hire his own staff completely??? How can u build a program at Auburn when the administration and boosters tell u who to hire?
He turned down South Carolina and Mississippi State too. Napier knows the right opportunity for him was coming eventually.

Harsin had at least one assistant forced on him (WR coach I believe) that he let go a few games into the season.
See ya

Auburn was forcing assistants on him - that's why he turned it down.
100%. Auburn said. "we'll hire the staff".
The Yella Wood guy has way too much influence

Ponamsky has a new alter and again showing his IQ is in line with his boss.
Would love to see him as an agent getting eaten alive by NFL GMs.

This is probably the worst take I have seen about him on this board yet! You’re really reaching here lol
It’s been stated multiple times and I know people who work with him at UL that have said he did not take the auburn job because he would not have the ability to hire the staff he wanted and did not want to be a puppet of the boosters. He wants control over his program so he CAN build it the best way he can.

They told him he had to retain Kevin Steele, who stabbed Gus in the back.

It is the worst take, so you have to ask yourself what is motivation of the OP?
Like stated, it’s a Ponamsky alter and deep down he knows Napier will fix the O/Derek shiteshow real quick further exposing the fraud and con they both are in college football.
Motivation discovered, time to move on.

There seems to be this complex amongst Napier deniers in which logic ceases to come to fruition

Auburn didn’t want Napier fwiw
