trying not to get too excited about the possibility of that staff coming to fruition, but can't help it. that's what you call a kick in the arse on that side of the ball.

I don't get the criticism of Robinson's special teams this year. Here's the rankings last year/this year:
Net punting: 49/21
Punt returns: 106/24
Kick returns: 93/98
Kick return defense: 40/4
Looks like significant improvement in 3 of the 4 categories. I think Robinson was yet another good Miles hire (Crowton and Pelini being the other two main ones) and no way should we be talking about getting rid of him.
Miles screwed up with the co-DCs this year but I'm confident he's going to hit another home run this year in fixing the problem.

He has been a GA for the last 2 years so he is very familiar with the players. Guy would be a great DB coach especially if you had someone like Walker come in and be the DC (Dbs are his specialty). Raymond is probably the best GA we have.
