Who is PJ Fleck?

A former college and NFL WR.
Coached in college and NFL, mostly as a WR coach.
Never been a coordinator besides the recruiting coordinator.
Has a previously terrible program undefeated and ranked.
Improved every year he has coached.
Went 8-5 with a team that was 1-11 the year before. Best recruiter in the MAC.
His motivational speeches would even have LSU's offensive line believing they are better than Bama's D-Line.
being scared won't cut it for him. He will have his team believing they were by far the best players on the field every game. Players would play better than they should.
He is gonna be a coaching Rockstar sooner rather than later.
If he landed a head coaching job at one of the blue blood programs, he would win at least 1 National Championship.
I like this guy more and more everyday. With that said, I still prefer Herman right now. Fleck is starting to close the gap a little more with Herman but Herman has the best resume and experience. I'm all in on either of them.

I have heard such remarks in reference to no less than three additional coaches at non-Power 5 programs.
Everyone wants to be right about the next Saban, Meyer, Carroll, etc. But, the fact remains that more often than not these guys just don't pan out.

The excitement was rampant. The coach was Brady Hoke.

I get the feeling Purdue snags Fleck. They were 3-3 when they fired Hazell, so I think they already had their minds made up to get a jump on him, especially with the national attention WMU was starting to get.

Let Purdue be the proving ground playing with the big boys for Fleck and if he could do great there LSU would come and take him in 3-4 years if our next coach is a burst.

I think Fleck will be a really good coach at a top school, but I'm all in on the Herman pain train.
All I can think about is him and Lindsey Scott wrecking the SEC West and blowing through LSU offensive records over the next 3-4 years.

Myles will follow up Scott and LSU won't have to have a dropoff in great QB play. With a Scott redshirt, and Brennan redshirt, they'll be 2 years apart.
