Who Inherited Bertman's 'List'?

Bertman kept a list in his desk of potential coaches 'just in case'.
I believe both Miles and Manieri were both on the 'list'.
Did Bertman 'will' the list to Alleva?

Probably still has it. Im sure he still would have a say if he wanted.

why would that ego maniac still have a say? His wish lists read "cheap yes man coach who will bow down to me and not kick me out of his office like Saban did."

Now you are throwing the great Skip under the bus as well? Does your irrational hatred know no bounds?
Did you lose a game of butt darts again?

and a shitty cheapskate AD who even got caught SELLING the baseball coaching job to the highest bidder (Smoke Lacheese sticks)

what? seriously? how did that go down?

He was an average at best AD, though.
Of course, his stature was benefitted by the fact that his predecessor was possibly the worst college athletic administrator of all time.

Was he responsible for Coach M? If so then another great coaching job or AD job for bringing another great coach to LSU.

Don't think that Miles would have been on that list. I doubt that Miles would have even been interviewed if Saban would have quit earlier.

Joe Dean planned on leaving a list for Bertman but he spilled a drink on it and the names were smeared

I'd kill to know who he had ranked below Curley and Brady.

Gil Brandt told Joe to hire Curley Hallman and never look back and then the one time he did look back - his car ended up in the lake

That has the makings of quite an entertaining thread.

Nobody in the their right mind should ever listen to a damn word Gil Brandt says. He is living off Tex Schramm and Tom Landry's reps and has been for 45 years.

Well I'm sure Joe Dean was stone cold sober during the conversation.

We're talking Joe Dean, though.
