As much as I like to joke about it, UT is not keeping Butch, even if they win out.

But there will be a lot of competition for any available names as well....

Why? Can’t Tennessee fans just accept that 8 wins is their ceiling for their program? You can’t have every team in the SEC be a top tier school like LSU and Bama, some programs are just destined to be mid tier like Tennessee and Florida.

Ppl keep saying Frost to Neb, but didnt he turn down Oregon as HC due to the recruiting it would take to build it up? Hell, he chose UCF over Oregon.. let that sink in for a min. IMO he's waiting on the call from Scott

One of those is not like the other. See if you can figure it out without searching.

I just have a feeling "mama calling" will be too much for Frost to turn down. Logic says he should take UF over Neb, but I think he probably goes with his heart. Plus Neb fans might be to the point where becoming a "Wisconsin" type program might be acceptable to them, and if so, then that is plausible for Neb.

Nebraska needs to become a triple option school. It’s their history and realistically their best bet. They aren’t going to get to recruiting like they used too.

Me too. It makes the most sense. Plus if any of you have ever been to Nebraska, why would you ever go back?

Easy, one of the teams sucks at baseball and gymnastics.

Strong was in way over his head at one UT. No way he gets a shot at another. Tennessee not taking anymore chances.

Yep. Excellent coach and great fit at UT.

Also, his current salary and buyout aren't big.

How is Durkin a good fit at Tennessee?

He fits the mold there. SEC experience, great DC, doing well at Maryland in two years.. has it on the way up.. has coached basically all around TN. Hell he'd even look good in orange.. Would have taken him in a heartbeat at LSU..
