He's my son's PE teacher & FB coach and is the SMHS offensive coordinater and JV head coach. Great guy. Hate to see him leave St. Michael if this is true.

Mike Todd is a hell of a coach, Walker is a no win situation.

And before someone says something, this isn't a Denham/Walker issue. The mentality of the community in regard to athletics is amazing.

Unfortunately, I did for one season & knew half way through the season that I would be looking elsewhere as soon as the season was over.

Anyone know if this is Bill Vice's son? Bill Vice was the DC at Redemptorist back when Bucky Mistretta was Head Coach.

This may be the beginning of the end for the rhs program. Heard last night that Guy M should be named head coach at Dunham sometime this week. Also heard the reason he left was lack of support from the new principal John Sanders and that the diocese was no longer allowing some students to attend the school at a reduced tuition rate. Same person told me the principle and and AD were trying to hire the next coach for next to nothing. TIFWIW

sid will not apply for the job. he is the AD and basketball coach at Central and he like likes it that way. HE WILL NOT GO BACK TO REDEMTORIST!! Maybe Varnado will apply

Not entirely true. Sid is no longer the basketball coach at Central.

The coaching itch has got to be killing him at this point. Probably a long shot to leave public school to go back to parochial but the chance to save his Alma mater and coach again maybe enough.

Paul Varnado has been a mainstay for the Catholic schools in the area. He has to be the top choice after Edwards and Bill Vice's son.
