Been some talk of Brady getting some feelers but age and or experience may put that on hold

It has. You do know that just bc he signed a contract means nothing don’t you?
Name came up on two Sirus/xm programs about a week ago to get some looks this offseason

Come up with an example scenario where he leaves the $1.8M LSU OC job? Curious...

HEAD coach at X university for one or NFL OC job which is one thing they mentioned he might be interested in. Just telling you what I heard . Not trolling . Don’t give two shites either way

Lincoln Riley (if an NFL job is considered to be a bigger gig)

Norvell is rumored to be the top candidate for FSU. Don’t know how solid the rumor is.

Will be interesting to see if Dallas finally gets rid of Jason Garrett. If he does I could see Lincoln giving it a go.

quote:It'd have to be a named Power 5 team to call on him with an enticing enough offer for HC, which would be a huge stretch for a 29-year old at this point who has yet to even be a coordinator. Huge risk. He'd be better off financially to be OC for LSU for 2-3 years and see where that leads for HC offers.

Now, I would not put it past at least 1 NFL team making a big high risk wager on him as an OC. Again, it'd be his first OC gig ever. But, billionaires have been known to do stupid things when it comes to their football teams. And, the NFL likes the "wunderkind" offensive coaches right now. (At least until they see that McVay and Kingsbury are getting figured out by other teams.)

Updated OP with those names and Luke Fickell at Cincinnati, too.
Fickell has Michigan State written all over him
Oh I'd love Fickell but I could See Dantonio not leaving not on his own and the AD already stated he likely won't make a change :(

Yeah, AD's never say a coach's job is safe a few days/weeks before canning their arse.

Ah the Coaching Changes board...where everyone knows someone who's heard something from an Ole Miss booster about Mike Norvell's coke, stripper and gambling ways.

Word is there is a "character" issue that comes up every time teams get those firms to look up candidates. Heard rumors of a picture with cocaine and a stripper from some Ole Miss booster that wanted him in Oxford...not kidding. He didn't see it, but Ole Miss deemed whatever it was as a non-starter as they tried to fix their PR image post-Freeze.

hookers and blow... can't get more Ole Miss than that.

I would think his name being mentioned by college football analysts on national radio shows might be at least more credible than a friend of a friend who met a real estate agent
