I was going to post the Wolken article yesterday. The arrogant college football intelligentsia is hilarious to me.
Leaving in the midst of a playoff run is a little gross to me, but I can't be outraged anymore when players are making money and some leave schools every year. Kiffin probably made a calculated decision that his team might win a game, but that's not enough worth staying.

And this is what leads to the dishonesty in all of these articles re: the status of Ole Miss
Promoting a shitty 12-team playoff and then admitting that it does nothing to actually help include more title worthy teams is a pill too big to swallow. The only reason they promote it was based on the fantasy that these teams deserved the title shot.

Kiffin basically skipped out on a BCS bowl game, let’s be honest
But since he left, the pearl clutchers will keep using the “before a championship run” line

There’s a big group of CFB reporters originally from Brooklyn or DC that live in Atlanta or some shite now. Those are the people you want to ignore.

Tom Fornelli has acted like a complete wimp throughout this entire thing.

The reality they refuse to admit.

Uh. No. He didn’t. As proven when Bama beat them.

1. Engage in the dishonesty over-valuing Ole Miss and their chances this year
Think part of it is also how the media doesn't see LSU as a blue blood.
Like would there be this much hoopla if he jumped from ole miss to Michigan or notre dame

National media
I get why ole Miss fans are melting but why are all these National mates as Karen’s from Aggy, bama and UGA fanbases so mad too?
