Perfect world scenario:

Urban does ESPN for a year.

O gets fired next year.

Urban becomes LSU’s head coach the following year.

He's coming back, folks.

Can’t get fired if you always retire.

Southern Cal

SC has had enough problems with the NCAA and everyone else in the last 10 years. The last thing they will do is hire a media disaster like CUM.

Pffft. Going against Alabama, Texas A&M and Florida every year on the playing field and battling them in the living rooms of blue chip recruits....just the thought of that would make Urban's chest hurt.

Not enough talent there.

False statement and Taggart will recruit believe dat, can he coach at that level doubtful.

My top 3 of likely destinations after his "heart" gets back into it would be

FSU
Miami
North Carolina

Saban goes back to back with Tua and retires. Urban takes the Bama job and coaches for 10 more years winning 3 more titles

I actually believe he will stay out of coaching this time, but Notre Dame would be the only place that I think could lure him.

Now, if he comes out of retirement, then you’d almost be forced to conclude that OSU pushed him out.

LSU makes the most sense. He can build a contender immediately and, even if he happens to lose to Bama in the regular season, would probably still get into the playoffs.
