I’m just trying to figure out why anyone is buying it.

Bout a 3rd of the board lately:
“He’s only been a P5 head coach 2 years, which is why he’d fail at Bama… if only the Seahawks weren’t hiring him.”

What??

The concerns with DeBoer is whether he would be able to recruit at a high level at Bama and whether he would be a fit. Those concerns aren’t there with the Seattle job.

Sexton was going to play both Washington & Bama this offseason no matter what. It comes down to money & whether or not DeBoer wants to be at Bama or Washington.

Eh, step back & relax. Could be a good hire. Could go poorly. Either way, Kelly’s cooking up something here.

Bama was never going to make a Rees level hire at this juncture unless they had exhausted all other options.

But those concerns are irrelevant if Seattle never dials his phone number.

Several places have mentioned it a possibility.

Relax and stop worrying about who bama’s next coach will be. Whoever it is will not and will never be another Nick Saban. That’s some awfully big shoes to fill and whoever it is will be gone from bama in 5 years or less. I’ve mentioned it previously but bama and their fans are about to be in a major state of withdrawals for the next few years. Just my opinion but the ones I do know have already come to reality and already know it will never be the same.
