Where does O geaux?

If Jimbo is hired, then where does O geaux if Jimbo and LSU want to keep O? Meaning if LSU will pay the money to keep O as assistant HC and recruiting coordinator, then what is a better option?
O is a native of La, O's son plays at McNeese, and maybe O's wife is tired of moving?
Food for thought. Interested in the Rant's thoughts.

I don't see why he'd go elsewhere for the same position and he's often said he doesn't want to HC at a small school

I agree. My concern is that Saban will try to hire O as DC to try and screw us in recruiting. My hope is that O will set aside personal feelings and stay home.

Saban isn't hiring O as DC. Pruitt is one of the best DC's in the country that they just hired last year and O has never been a DC before.

Probably as an assistant for a hot seat coached team like Texas, to continue his interim HC career.

If he's got good sense he'all stay right the hell where he's at. Nobody else gonna pay him what LSU is for a dline coach.

Pruitt isn't one of the best DC's. He left Jimbo at Fla St., spent one year under Richt at Georgia and then went to Bama. Don't confuse a DC's success under Saban as evidence of how great a DC is. Saban has always run his defense regardless of where Saban has coached. Saban calls the shots on defense despite who holds the title of DC. Look at Muschamp and Smart.
My concern is that Saban will hire O if Jimbo is hired to get a bigger recruiting edge than Saban already has. If you think that's not a legit concern, then remember O's remarks about Cam Rob after the Bama game.

Ahh Coach O, from DL coach to being qualified for the LSU HC job to a sure hire as the Bama DC. No idea where you guys come up with this.

If he doesn't get the head coaching job, he will leave.
He did this already at USC.

This would be a very smart move on BAMA's part
Offer coach O more money than he is making now at LSU and let him be in charge of D-line at BAMA and recruiting coordinator in the state of Louisiana
This is why Saban is the best coach in America

I'm sure his agent is already putting his name our there for HC jobs. He will probably get a G5 or lower power 5 HC job.

So we should name O as HC to keep Saban from getting him?
