When was the last time an LSU coach made a lateral move to coach another collegiate team without getting fired from LSU?

dietzel went to army. back then, would you stilll have considered it lateral? i know that we had won a championship, but i still think that army might have been a better gig.

I'd argue it's the other way around. The writing was on the wall that Army's days as a legit football power were coming to a close.
