When was Coach O on Saints staff under Coach Payton?

Was it right before joining Kiffin at Tennessee?
I recall reading a TP article that Payton was less than impressed at O checking out early. "He should just leave now" (ahead of his formal exit date).
Having read P. King's article that O did not engage his staff for 2-full days after it went public that he would not return as LSU's HC...guys whose family/livelihood depend on him, reminded me of selfishness demonstrated at Saints exit, as well.
Adversity does not create character; it reveals it (EvilTwin).

The news came out on Sunday afternoon. Do you really believe that Orgeron didn't talk to his staff on Monday and Tuesday of a practice week?

Let’s just say I don’t not believe it

I believe it. He’s shown he’s petty and emotional. For certain he didn’t do anything “professional “. However, that’s what we get. We hired him knowing who he was and can’t shocked when he acted that way

to be fair, it implied he didn’t address them about this particular topic. not that he didn’t speak to them at all about anything.

Before the Ole Miss game I would have said a firm no.
However...

Unless it's about coffee, travel, girls field hockey or liberal politics, Peter King doesn't know his head from his arse. I'm no Orgeron defender, but what King wrote today is fricking asinine.
