When Sabatron comes after our OC do we jump to the 2.5 guaranteed for four years?

Or do we let him go and try to find someone further down the list?
I say we go the 2.5 route so we stay consistent on the offensive side of the ball and not have to change systems.

I'm sure Saban heard that the best OC in college football was just hired in Baton Rouge. He has got to come after him right?

Honestly, I feel bad for Ensminger. Dude probably loves LSU so much that he felt pressured into doing something he didn't totally won't. Only thing going for him, is that he doesn't want to fail the school he loves, so he will probably work harder than any other OC in the nation. Not sure if that will be enough to overcome anything though.

i'm cautiously optimistic that he will have a good year; at least as good or better than Canada did (which should be pretty easy imo).

I doubt steve is thinking this is a long term thing as he nears retirement. it will definitely boost his retirement so if thing don't work our; he'll still have more to spend.

I would absolutely love this scenario to play out, just to watch the Rant go batshit crazy.

We lost: 4 starting O Linemen, both WRs, our QB, our FB, both of our legit RBs, yet we’re gonna be better against SEC D’s?!?!
If he’s not in it for the long term than why the frick did we give him the job? It takes years to develop these kids and said system and the sophomores and juniors have already had 3 OC’s in 2 years.

Seeing your constant crying and gnashing of teeth is funny though.
