shite is going to get hot and heavy this week. As soon as Michigan makes it official, shite will hit the fan. I cannot wait.

Same here.

As much as some people hate the rumors and bullshite that is spread on here, I absolutely love it. This is my favorite board because of it. It's like some huge game trying to sift through the shite and find the plausible scenarios. Bring it, Michigan.

+1

It's very entertaining. Not too mention, if you try to piece all the bits and pieces of info together, you can learn which rumors are legit and which ones are just people being silly.

I hate when college football season is winding down, but the saving grace is the coaching changes and the associated drama that seems to ensue every year.

hate to ruin the fun, but .....

this is premium, but Derek said we could share it so don't whack it admins

quote:

Les Miles has told people close to the Michigan program he is not interested in their head coaching position, should it open of course.

This is a family decision on the Miles family's part.

If the position opens and his name comes out as a candidate, which it will, he will avoid making any public comments negative to his university, but he has let people there know he is not interested.

So much of this is handled back door through agents and other third parties.

Can't wait myself. Michigan is holding all of this up. As soon as they make their decision the dominos will start to fall from the NFL through the NCAA. Going to be great.
On a side note read something earlier that someone close to Michigan put out saying if Harbaugh declines their offer the #2 candidate will be Brady Hoke from SDSU. Not one word mentioned Miles being on the list.

Could be because:

Could be or the "real" reason is he has it made here. Would be a complete retard to want to leave this goldmine he is in right now.

Your profile says that you live in Louisiana. I am assuming that you aren't lying. Apparently you enjoy living in Louisiana. Why would you assume that Miles wouldn't? Are you in a goldmine too?

Saying he is in a goldmine named LSU not just because he lives in LA. Who would not be happy and looking to leave a coaching position that gives you ridiculous contract extensions and buyouts along with paying nearly $4 mil a year to win 8 or so games a year and not being on the hot seat.

And yes I do enjoy living here, probably just down the road from you since you have p'ville listed as your home. I do alright, not anything close to how Miles has it made though.

I see this figure as a constant thread among you Miles attackers.
Why is it such a problem for you?
Are you a season ticket holder?
Are you a member of TAF?
How does Miles's salary directly effect you?
If he were paid less how much would that effect you?
What is the proper amount?
Why?
