It was a damn political campaign. The first thing O did was hire Ponamsky. The he had Eric Hill (former player, current TAF Board Member) talk to the team the very, first week. Then after about week 2 Gordy Rush started talking glowingly about Coach O on the Wednesday night Tiger Zone show and I knew we were screwed unless we lost. For the life of me I thought we dodged the bullet with the Thuggish BS we pulled while we got embarrassed by Florida.

Damn. Somebody tell Pittsburg that. Them and Syracuse played the highest scoring game in FBS history today. I think Pitt put up over 700 yards out of a pro style offense. Offense isn't the problem at FSU or Arkansas, either.
FWIW, I don't care what we run as long as we develop QBs and call plays effectively out of whatever the system is.

Living in North MS/Memphis Metro, there is a ton of Ole Piss coverage. I remember waiting for the day he would lose it and go apeshit in a presser when he was there. I was surprised that he never did.
I think John L literally had a psychotic break during that season. It was off the charts. I honestly don't think O will ever match it.
