Yeah, what fanbase would want a coach who's been to three straight Rose Bowls?

Lost 2 of them and is likely to lose the one upcoming to make him 0-3 in the Rose Bowl.

9-13 (40.9%) against top 25 teams in his tenure at Wisconsin. Having that record against the top 25 teams yet still getting into bowl games shows how weak the Big 10 is/was.

To go roughly 40% against top 25 teams then expect to be among the elite in the best conference (and best division within that conference) in the land, is foolish.

Not to mention his pro/power style offense. He is going to try to "out-LSU" and "out-Bama", LSU and Bama with inferior talent. Not gonna happen.

Your coach is 0-1 in his last bcs bowl and missed out on one this year and the year before with "the most talented team in the country" advantage Bielema.

Not sure I follow. Miles goes 10-2 in the SEC and Bielema lucks into a bowl because two teams are banned.....how is this advantage Bielema? I gathered he was insinuating Bielema was a better coach, which is laughable to me.

Don't get me wrong, part of me wants to see Bielema succeed. The SEC looks/gets better, and the LSU/Arkansas game gets more competitive/exciting. However, when looking at the facts and stats, to assume Bielema is going anywhere near Atlanta at seasons end anytime soon is grossly premature and quite frankly naive.

Once again, this is wrong.

He's a balanced guy, not a run guy. 3 out of 7 years he's thrown for more yards then they've ran for.

Please quit comparing LSU with bama. Bama is on a different tier than LSU

Nice deflection ;)

Never compared. Simply stated my opinion that they are the top 2 teams in the western division.

Latching on to Bama to try to cut down LSU. Pathetic.

Greatly underachieved. The last 2-3 years people have been claiming "one of the most talented teams ever" and they've missed a BCS bowl 2 out of those 3 years.

I assume you mean BCS bowl. Everybody knew Penn St and Ohio St weren't eligible well before the season began. Not his fault they broke NCAA rules, or condone Pedophilia in Penn St' case.

Bielema did a very good job considering graduation, NFL draft casualties and coaching turnover(replaced 7 assistants after last year).

Have before, will again.

It was just two seasons ago LSU and Alabama finished 3rd and 4th in the West behind Arkansas and Auburn.

10-2 in any other conference gets you to a bowl game more often than not. I'll take Miles' record in the SEC over Bielema's record in the Big 10 any day.

I'm not saying he isn't a good coach. I'm just not convinced he is going to make a huge splash immediately.

Bielema is going to find out the difference between Big 10 and SEC football. I think the war of attrition is going to bite him in the arse the first few years.

I piss you off too? Sorry your coach can't win shite with an NFL team. I don't pretend to think Arkansas will ever get better players than LSU. Which is why We're are lucky to have an overachiever at head coach and not the opposite. You would be hard pressed to find a single person in the country that doesn't think Les Miles has underachieved with all that LSU talent. Just look at his last head to head with JLS.

85-20 (81%) is underachieving? I'll admit I think he should have a few more wins with the available talent, however at the same time, with average at best talent at the QB position, he's done pretty well.

You sound like a Tiger Rant poster.

Actually you can't count Wisky's upcoming 3rd Rose Bowl loss on BB. According to Arky fans if BB were there Wisky would be up by eleventy billion at half.
