What's the scoop on Mike Munchak?

This morning I heard 2 things:
1. (as bizarre as it sounds), he was in the running for Penn State.
2. The Titans CEO is in the process of deciding his fate.
Anyone have any info?

munchak is not being considered this time due to age according to psu insiders. last time he was offered the job, accepted but bud adams threatened to sue for taking "his coach" so psu backed off as they did not need the publicity. would be surprised if he was let go of by the titans.

Sounds like tommy smith is leaning towards bringing back munchak. He's got one year left on his deal. DC Jerry Gray is probably getting canned and Gregg Williams will be promoted... but we'll see.
