Riley's DC, Alex Grinch, is gonna' be a head coach. He's done well to build back a defense that didn't exist 2 years ago. Riley is not a defensive guy, but he's elite in offense and QB development.

Look at what Kliff Kingsbury is doing in the NFL.

Riley would have NFL talent on the defensive side. Just needs the right DC.

The whole Big 12 champion shouldn't even qualify for the playoffs just goes to show they don't have the same type of overall talent as the other 3 playoff teams. That actually helps Riley's case.

He would be an incredible fit at LSU and to deny that because his defenses at OU haven't been great is pretty silly. It would be like Arizona Cardinal fans saying they don't want Kliff, because he was let go at TT for shitty defenses. Never mind the fact that since Kingsbury became an offensive coordinator in 2011, his offenses averaged 550 yards and nearly 42 points per game.

At least these coaches, Riley and Kiffin are actually great on one side of the ball.
