what a stupid AD to mess up that hire by sailing.

Sailing in Michigan in December has to be a little chilly.

UM is in disarray IMO. Too may cooks in the kitchen for too long. I know they tried to hire outside then inside again. I was a fan of the RR hire to be honest.

But now they need stability, something to root them again. I don't know if Miles is it, but I do know they need to stop and do something productive.

Harbaugh isn't a FA. Unless SF fires him, he's getting traded to another NFL team. IMO he's an NFL coach as well. I know that's a sidetrack, but Harbaugh to UM is pipedream IMO.

Person who told me about Hoke this morning had previously told me Les was never offered in 2007. Long story about why, but had nothing to do with the rumor about Moeller's wife - which is false, by the way.

This time, I think they are going to make a run at Les.

That's definitely not accurate.

Moeller's wife

Supposedly Moeller cheated on his wife, and then the wife stayed with Les and Kathy post event to figure things out. They sided with her, and that's where the animosity originated.

LSU had somebody lined up to replace Miles in 2007, as well.

A'ight?

Missed his return by that much. And probably 3 more national titles.

Herbstreit better die before me or hope I go suddenly. If I get some lingering terminal disease, I'm finding him.

Once he left he was not coming back. So many people want to believe that but he wasn't.

You may be right. Although my source back then would have definitely been in the know. Combo of money people and AD.

I'm convinced it was a set up so the program would have been in the shitter to allow aight's return a few years later.

Their fans want Les or Harbaugh and it seems like they believe Les is the far more realistic option. I think he would be great up there and would get the excitment back.

He's done a great job here but I'm ready for a change. The way we've recruited, it would be nice to see some of these guys on offense do their thing.

If it's Jeff Long, don't be surprised if Miles is a legit serious candidate.

What is the scenario if Michigan is hell bent on getting Miles?

What is the buyout? Is there a buyout?
