miles is a michigan man who wants to coach at michigan. schiano isn't

Miles has expressed the same interest in coaching Michigan than Schiano has. Schiano at least met with them to talk about the job. And Miles has removed himself from consideration the same as Schiano did.

Are you asking if I can take 10 faggy poems and make them not-so-faggy, thereby "righting" them? Yeah, I can do that.

why would he EVER contact them until they hire a new coach? how stupid is miles?

When did he contact them? The only report that has surfaced since (other than internet chat rumors like y'all's) is that Michigan called him.

No. It isn't stupid to think that coming out publicly and stating that he's not taking another job, calling a press conference to refute rumors reported as news to the contrary, reaffirming that sentiment at another press conference, and having every single person that would theoretically be involved in such a process publicly confirm the same, would be enough to convince any halfway reasonable person that he is not leaving. He may be stupid enough to believe that the LSU fanbase is made up of halfway reasonable people, or he may just realize that the people that don't meet that standard are pretty much irrelevant so he doesn't have to care what they believe.

On the other hand, he may also realize that no amount of evidence would ever convince those people like you. Consider this: Alabama just threw 40+ million dollars at Saban last year. If ESPN kept reporting that it was a possibility, are you honestly suggesting that you would not entertain the notion that Michigan would be considering paying a $5 million buyout to get Miles? Or $6 million? You people would still be here clamoring on about how Michigan has boatloads of money and a one-time buyout of $5, $6 or even $10 million would be a drop in the bucket compared to the long term success of the program.

Look at it this way: given an audience that will automatically assume that you and everyone else is lying, and also assume that everyone involved will do everything possible to make it happen and hide the fact that they are doing it, could any one of you prove, completely, that there is absolutely positively no possible way that you are leaving your job?

Oh I see. Sorry I missed your stunning clarity the first time.

Not sure I grasp the concept of a "queer" poem with no references to homosexual activity.

If you're looking for poems written by homosexuals or for homosexuals, you're asking the wrong person. I suggest you find someone with a little rainbow sticker on their car.

I'm sure they'll be glad to help you.

Thanks again for your kindness...now you have a great day.

Because only irrational people are "in the middle of all this chaos." To the people involved in the process (Miles, Martin, Bertman, Bass, etc.), it's over. Who knows what he talked to them about on Friday? Who knows what he talked to them about in July of 2003? But since he's not going, and every reasonable person knows he's not going, why should he care?

I mean, y'all are going to be convinced that every phone call he takes is actually a smokescreen or a double-blind agent working for Michigan to facilitate the secret plan anyway, right?
