I doubt the current staff will stay like it is. Will Emsminger go back to TE''s or take a administrative role like Krags did? Will Grimes scheme on the line mesh with Canada's philosophies? Surely Canada will want to bring one or two guys. Who will take a different role and or slide over to the shadow staff.

Ensminger will stay on and what he did with the offense is commendable. It more than proves that he is a good coach and we should expect more from our TE's with him and maybe Canada.

Grimes will probably stay. He's been a great recruiter and I think our O line has improved with him here. Next year is the true test for his coaching ability.

I doubt Canada has much input. The head coach usually decides assistant coaches.

I don't get why this is a thing on here. Aranda didn't bring anybody. Canada will not bring anybody. That is not how this works.

No problem with Ensminger staying on and yes he did a great job. I am just saying he has no intention of ever leaving LSU. He wants to retire here and he is only coaching TE's. a job that can be coached by the O line and receivers coach together. Slide Steve into a football operations role and he can still coach at practice and be a key in the shadow staff. Then use that slot to bring in a purely QB coach who is a top notch recruiter.

I totally agree.. Bring in sark at qb coach. Although isn't Canada the qb coach and OC at Pitt?

That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works.
