What is the upside to leaking inside information?

I enjoy the speculation as much as the next guy, but if the leaks landing on this board compromises the outcome, its best to keep quiet. Can't think of much upside.

Upside is trolling the board every day by updating it with stupid percentage chances and farming upvotes. If you want to know which source isn't doing that, look at how frequently they post and create new threads. Random makes a new thread for every single post. DA tends to update his original post

The upside? We get to read info from people who may or may not be in the know, as opposed to monotonous mindless drivel from people who obviously don't know.

So for me, the upside is huge.
