What happens to recruiting if the announcement cannot happen till season's end?

Recruiting suffers but if that is what it takes to get the right guy in here then so be it.

Since the early signing period came into effect, the 1st classes for new hires have been awful. The class may end up ranked highly, but most the guys end up transferring out or getting otherwise processed.

Transition classes (esp with early signing now) are gonna be bad, but that a part of making the right decision to move on. FSU became a long term rebuild when they had to fire Taggert.

Don’t be gripping when we go .500 next year be patient with whoever the new coach is. This roster is as bad has it has been in 20 years. Not much depth or even bodies to fill much need spots.

If it comes a week prior to early signing day we'll be fine. We'll keep 10 ish kids commited now, and get a few that we weren't recruiting before. Transfer portal will allow us to make a hybrid class with a ton of transfers to fill the gaps. Good thing about that is alot of the kids in college now got a free covid redshirt yr. So most kids will have 2-3 to play when they join.

It’s impossible to make a coaching change without hurting that year’s recruiting class. I don’t know why so many people on here are so obsessed with it.
