Reading this board is like sifting through one big whining session.

Have a little faith in Coach O.

Many of you are either deluded or simply pussies. Look in the mirror and do some self-reflection.

Nobody really wanted Kiffin at LSU. We simply didn't want him at Alabama anymore. Anyone who is hired will be more imaginative than Cam Cameron and Les Miles.

Take a deep breath and buck up. Damn, you people are F'ing pathetic.

I still have faith in O, but it's getting tougher by the day. We need some good news.

He has done literally nothing to merit people putting their hopes in his coaching ability.

I am the kind of fan who thinks this is looking like a complete shite show! Looks like we lost out on 2 QBs while waiting for Kiffin! But what do I know?!?

is that the goal? Just be more imaginative than the two most unimaginable fricks possible ? Cool.

What happened to LSU fans that weren't ok with mediocrity?

Look, Coach O got Aranda to stay and re-up. That is a huge piece of the puzzle solved.

He promised to hire the best, let's see if he can do it.

I did...since then he hasn't been able to bring back the top 2 LB recruits in the state, has ostracized both top QB prospects in the class, and hasn't been able to hire a top notch OC.

He also coached 2 thirds of a season and lost 2 games....one of which was a real ugly loss to a horrible Florida team at home.

A chance he has been given and up until this point he has failed miserably.

Coach O stated clearly he would hire someone AFTER the bowl game. Just because he doesn't jump when you want him to doesn't mean he can't do his job.

Nobody wants mediocrity.

But you just said you were happy about any hire because it would be better than Miles and Cameron. That's not elite

Joe Alleva killed a lot of them. To be honest "negas" weren't all that tough to begin with. They root against the team to get a coaching change. Then, if they don't like the new coach selection, they keep rooting against the team until a perfect coach is selected.

frick them - good riddance. Tiger Stadium was more intimidating with 60 to 70 thousand hardcore fans than 100k - 3/4 of which are lukewarm (at best) who only want to beat traffic.

Based on what? His past HC experience or the masterful way he has handled LSU recruiting & the coordinator search so far

Nobody but the HEAD COACH. Is this one of the reasons I'm supposed to have faith in Coach O?

LSU fans are still tough & loyal. I've been a fan since the 70's & have been toughened up by a lot of disappointments & stayed loyal through it all but this idiocracy that we are being drug through by Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dumb right now is enough to test even the most loyal & toughest of fans. Since November of last year, the LSU football program has been in a tailspin & the leadership has been to blame. Stupid decision after stupid decision is making it worse by the day. LSU fans are tough, loyal, & some of us, OP not included, are realistic.
