What are the prevailing opinions these days on Dan Enos?

From my observations he made lemonade with some ugly lemons in Fayetteville, did some good work with Tua in Tuscaloosa
I know Manny Diaz fired him but the U obviously had/has some some major issues during that time.
No sauces just an honest question.

He’s highly overblown as an OC. Not good at all.

I was a big Enos fan until Miami. I wonder if Diaz just sucks so bad it made him worse

Excellent QB coach. No thanks as an OC

Better than Peetz

Putting Miami aside....
- has called plays as coordinator
- SEC, ACC, and B1G experience
- worked for Petrino on offense
- worked for Saban
- seems to be effective in FL for Maryland recruiting
- has also coached QBs
- has always seemed to be an above avg. recruiter overall (haven't looked at numbers... any evidence to the contrary?)
- Has also coached RBs, and had heavy input with OL under Petrino
- Maryland offense '21 wasn't spectacular, but was #14 passing rank w/sophomore Lil' Tagovailoa
- Locksley thought high enough about him to hire him... post-Miami.
Now I'm only highlighting the positives. But that's a decent resume.
And I wouldn't hold Miami against him. Complete clusterfrick with scapegoating to boot.

That's a pretty low bar.

Enos is a good coach, I wouldn’t hate if he was QB coach here. Playcalling is inconsistent with him

Don't care for him as an OC. His biggest highlights were under Petrino who kind of ran the offense anyway. Enos is an okay QB coach, but I think we can definitely do better in terms of offensive playcaller.
