It would give him a chance to get back into the SEC and perhaps another shot at a BCS school HC gig??

really?
I mean..who in the world would ever leave Duke football?

Not unless he was fired, it would be what we in the business call a step down.

If he wants to leave Duke, I'd say hire him.
However he turned down the HC gig at U of Tenn last year, which leads me to believe that he's happy at Duke.
Anythings possible I guess...

Only if there were a recruit by the last name of Manning

Right. A guy that turned down a head coaching gig at a major SEC school is going to decide he wants to be an OC.

No offense, but he's not going to take a $1M pay cut to come to LSU as OC.
That's ridiculous.

Well, if he did, let's see we would have Cutcliffe, Chavis, and . . . all that's missing would be Fulmer and we would become Tenn recycled.

Unless there's another Manning out there, no.

Manning family would never allow one of theirs to play for LSU.

Stranger things have happened.

You're putting LSU on a pedestal.
Yeah, a HC would leave a BCS school, regardless of their history, to become a Coor. anywhere.
Do some of you think before you post?
