- acadiana possibly having a controversy with their HC and replacing him with Doug Dotson
- Elijah Haven supposedly transferring to a 5A BR school to play against higher comp
- WM has offered/interviewed/expected to hire every coach known to the state of Louisiana

M would have another head coaching job within hours
Yeah because that would get him more recruiting
At least 2 that people have claimed to interview HAVE NOT - a phone call asking if they are interested is not an interview

Well now the collectives can attach $$$$ to that

Relationships don’t matter the same when most of your roster is filled by NIL and the transfer portal and you’re only recruiting the elite high school players…
And the schools and coaches you’re not prioritizing relationships with aren’t likely to ever be pipelines

Yep they promoted DeMichael Dizer (Strength Coach). Offered several people and kept getting turned down. So I'm not expecting many changes within their staff or program.

My son is on the team. This was the players' choice too. I don't know you can justify hiring someone that has never called plays before.
I will say this, he was the most dialed in and professional of the coaches on staff. He seems to care about the players and making them better. The players love him. I think he would have been a great hire if he had been a DC for a few years.
Also, he is almost Xavier Legette country.
Edit: He had been defensive back coach so I took out where I said he hadn't.

That program has become a joke since Shows passed. I thought the last few years of Arledge were almost rock bottom but this is insane. Three straight years of having to hiring a new coach and getting turned down by anyone with any type of resume, no one wants to deal with the political bs that comes with this job.
