Weird: Bob Shoop to Michigan, not as DC, but as a position coach

Not sure what position he is filling. We just lost LB coach, but Shoop could get a better job than that elsewhere

Don Brown. One of the few names more respected than Bob Shoop.

I think the more appealing thing is this roster. We will have a lot of defensive talent on this team the next couple of years. It is primed for a good coach to come in and dominate immediately.

well I would imagine so

we have seen this before.. a coach takes a lesser job then a better one opens up and he leaves before the season

not sure about his particular contract though

Potentially...If LSU really wanted ANY coach they could come here.

It's been said that this season the boosters really opened up the pocket books, offering to pay for all kinds of stuff. So if that's true LSU is probably going to be throwing frick you money around for some new coordinators.

If doubt Michigan is putting insane buyouts in the position coaches contract espcially for a promotion.
