I don't just think about his short stay at Houston but his work at OSU as well. He took 3 different Qb's in one year and had NFL scouts considering drafting them after just a few games. He is able to create a masterful offensive game plan by adapting his playbook towards that Qb.
Example being him taking a week to prepare his 3rd string Qb for the Big Ten championship game and putting up 558 yards of offense.
The guy is a bright offensive mind and all it takes is the right place and hire at DC for him to be elite.

It's a head scratcher, but Navy is not the pushover some here seem to think they are. Under Coach Niumatalolo especially, they have a way of making very good teams and coaches look worse than they are. I've been a season ticket holder at Navy for several years (of course I missed this one...) so maybe I'm just more excited over Navy's huge win than what it means for our coaching search at the moment. Plenty of time to figure that out.

There's a board dedicated to your incomplete thoughts. Maybe post your nonsense there.

That offense will put way to much pressure of the defense, 3 and outs will give the defense 2 minutes to get a blow. That flag football offense is meant for the big 12 not the SEC.

Navy always plays hard. They should never beat the #6 team in the country

This just means we can make a run at him sooner than January. The price may have gone down a bit too.

This is so stupid
There's too much pressure to expect then go undefeated. They can't afford a loss
In the sec you can
He is still great against top defenses
I want him with Aranda over any other possible combo

Saban lost to ulm while at Alabama!
People are so stupid
We needed Houston to lose! This helps tremendously .
He receives less money from uh for not reaching playoffs too

You saw what Herman did with a 3rd string qb versus Alabama D

What are you smoking?
His offense lit up Alabama with a garbage 3rd string qb
People are so ridiculously reactionary

His record versus much superior teams with less talent is impressive
Imagine him with better talent and he'd look like osu vs bama
Especially combining him with Aranda

Should eliminate him from consideration IMO
So who are the candidates?
Washington is undefeated, so I'm sure their coach would be on the list. Who else?

Yup
He is an offensive genius and with Aranda would be a force

I'm all in for Coach o. Herman looks like a nerd. I want a football coach not a chemistry teacher . And since he learned from Urban Meyer I really hate him.

He is at Houston
What about his Reid's versus ranked teams?
He averages 1 loss a season yet beats top 5 teams
It's hard for anyone to go undefeated
It's not like he's working with a loaded team
