If you haven't figured out why this isn't a good idea yet, then you haven't been paying attention

You're out of you mind if you think lsu will hire anyone with the last name Briles while the title ix stuff is going on.

This may have been a good idea 4 or 5 months ago. But with the whole sexual assault and abuse scandal plaguing the athletic dept. and football team currently, there is no way they can bring in a coach with the last name of Briles, regardless what his role, or lack there of, was in the Baylor scandal.

frick the Title IX stuff. That’s all optics. Winning fixes that.

Hiring him doesn’t make what we did any better or worse.

No, but it makes it harder to convince people that those issues are in the past

Fix the problem and that doesn’t matter.

It absolutely does matter, you can pretend it doesn’t, but it without a doubt does.

I am f’n down. You want a offensive coordinator? Say no more than Kendal f’n Briles. If O is in anyway implicated in the title lX business, he’ll be gone and it won’t matter who we hired as OC anyway.

That’s a hard bill to sell to people. When shite hits the fan it’s gets on everyone near the shite

You could maybe get away with it if it wasn’t his literal son. That’s just asking for trouble from the NCAA and on the recruiting trail.

Briles is a genius with offensive scheming. If we had the personnel, we would have won 9 games at least this season. We are just so thin.

But what was said above is correct. You can't touch that name with the current allegations.

Hate it for you honestly... Amazing what Auburn/Bama has gotten away with through the years.

Why are so many enamored with Briles over Lebby? Lebby was the RB coach and Baylor during their tear of top 15 rush offenses with not a single RB doing anything in the NFL. He was the QB coach and OF at UCF with Dillon Gabriel (check him out this year), and McKenzie Milton. Corral from Ole Miss this year is first in the country in offensive yards per game, and has 31 TDs (with passing) in only 9 games this year. For reference, LSU's QBs as a whole has 27 TDs in 10 games.

Lebby only has one year of play calling experience and that was this year under Lanes watchful eye

Briles spent 2 years under Kiffin, and 3 more years since under different coaches running his own show and has had success in the SEC so far

If it weren’t for the baggage he’s probably atleast a G5 head coach if not more right now
