So if others opinions don't match yours then they are talking out their arse?

What is wrong with him wanting to be a head coach? We have had 4 OC's at Slabama under Saban.

Obviously you want a young prove OC who can help LSU immediately, but I would rather have an OC stay for 3-5 years rather then 1 year like Kiffin most likely would do

Even if Kiffin does bolt, there are benefits here.. If he gets a HC job next year after being our OC, then that means he turned around our offense and QB situation. That in and of itself will be a positive sign that we can, and will operate in a spread, open offense and that we can develop QB's. It'll give O a better idea of what our offense needs to look like and how we can move forward based on what he spent the season looking at, which would help in our next OC search. It also will be good for recruiting in the long run, now I know it's difficult with some guys not knowing who their OC would be, but it does show them that we can and will do what we need in order to execute a great offensive scheme, regardless of who's at the helm.

Idk, just my thoughts. Having a successful offense, even for one year, seems like it could do nothing but help. It'll help us get the taste out of our mouth that we've had the past 11 years.

Good. That means he came here and had success, and other programs are taking notice.

There are reasons to not want Kiffin, but "because he wants a HC job" is probably one of the worst.

Sterling Gilbert, Briles,Canada, or Helfrich

Will probably get head coaching jobs in a few years.

Any OC who does well at LSU is going to have HC opportunities.

So does Aranda

You don't know this; you are assuming this.

Too much wisdom in this post to be on the rant. Upvote!!!

Plus it's kind of naïve to believe that he's coming here. Same with Jimbo and Herman .

I agree sir, we don't want Kiffin. We don't need Kiffin. We can find a suitable OC in Sterling Gilbert or Mr. Briles, or Canada.

People hate Briles, but if you step back and analyze the situation, he is not going to be a HC anytime soon, and whichever program lands him (probably auburn) will be getting one hell of a coach and offensive guru

I do not want Lane kiffin anywhere around Lsu or coach O. Saban had to kick him in the balls to keep him in line. I don't think O has it in him to do the same

I'm starting to want him here just because everyone else in the country doesn't want him here.
