Auburn is so screwed. How in the world is a guy with his record going to be able to recruit considering his record as a head coach?
Saban is probably laughing right about now.

This guy is getting hammered. His job is going to suck until he wins some games. Gonna be a long off-season.

He said he left ISU in better shape than when he got there. He also said that he expected those results and that it was part of the plan.

I'm no Auburn fan, and with them being an SEC West team, I root for their failure, but this guy is not very impressive, IMO.

I can't see Auburn fans patiently waiting two or three years to see his "plan" come to fruition.

I can't believe some of the crap that this guy is saying. How in the world can a guy who claims to have love for Auburn and who also has a 5-19 record at his current job say that he knew he was the right guy for Auburn?

"I knew I was the best guy for this job. And I said War Eagle!"

This guy is a moron. Seriously, you were better than the guy who took one of the crappiest teams in the NCAA and brought them to a conference title? Good lord, this should be fun to watch for the next few years.

Seriously. They are going to be kicking themselves in the arse when Turner Gill goes to Iowa State (rumored he is a front runner) and brings them to bowl games. Then when he goes to some big time program down the road, they're going to have their "Sam Bowie" moment.

Dumb asses. Oh well, at least the West just a little easier for everyone else.

The SEC has been upping the ante league wide when it comes to head coaches for a long time now. I guess they all can't hit a homerun.

At least Miles won't be the butt of ALL the jokes anymore.

Him saying that he wouldn't trade the last 2 years for anything is just stupid. I'm quite certain he would of traded the last two years if he could of had a .300 winning percentage.

It's spin, brah. What is he supposed to say? He's got me laughing, though.

Why does a player have to love Auburn to play for Chezik? If I were a fan, I could give 2 shits if the player likes Auburn or not. All I'd care about is if the guy can win a freakin game.
When does Auburn fire Jacobs?

What coaches' "blueprint" DOESN'T include winning and competing for championships?

Some of the comments in these coaching hire PCs are so stupid ... have they actually ever interviewed someone who didn't plan on winning???

I can honestly say after watching this PC, Miles looks like friggin Albert Einstien compard to this trainwreck.

I almost feel sorry for the Barn. This guy is a huge idiot if he thinks he's going to truly be the "leader" of Auburn football. In other news, Jay Jacobs remind me of actor David Morse.

Miles may be the butt of a lot of jokes, but he's got a NC ring. The problem with Miles is that he's not a good interiewee on TV and doesn't speak well publicly.

However, from all accounts, those who have met him in person and spoken to him privately say he's very engaging, very honest, and to the point. That's why I think he's so good at recruiting as he's been. He knows how to turn on the charm.
