Well, Mora will either have a new job or a contract extension shortly.

If it falls through with Mora, I wonder if Washington would try to get Pinkel. Was an assistant under Don James, and his stock is pretty high right now. I thought I read that he has turned them down before, but maybe he feels that nostalgic pull after the death of his mentor this year.

Pinkel needs another year or two for the stench of that DUI to wear off before he gets big offers

No need to interview. Done good at college level, already stated that's his dream job so he'll never leave. Got Cali recruiting connections; no brainer of a choice AND a upgrade in my opinion

Mora is having his first real success as a head coach.

I don't think he should leave UCLA.

Mora would be an idiot to leave the recruiting hotbed of LA for the talent wasteland that is the State of Washington. This is not the early 90's anymore. The days of Washington, Nebraska and Colorado competing for national titles are done. You gotta have proximity to elite talent or have the founder of Nike as an alum in order to win big.

I think Orgeron would fit in nice at UCLA.

You can draw talent to Seattle. Washington produces as many D1 football players as Arkansas and is much more attractive to out of state players.

UCLA is a better football program than Washington.

UCLA may be the most underachieving program in the nation when if you put a lot of stock in recruiting.

The schools program isn't in that great of shape. They recently committed to building a football facility though but don't even have an on campus stadium. Washington has recently completed renovation of it's facilities, including it's on campus stadium. It's an attractive job in an attractive city. Washington has actually won a national championship in recent memory.
