There is lot here. Also note at the very end that the Chancellor is saying NEBRASKA DID ASK PERMISSION TO SPEAK TO PELINI

One thing is obvious, there is a plan if/when Miles leaves.
Lombardi seems like a smart dude. His, "Look left - go right" comment in regards to the coaching search is interesting.

Bertman could not be reached for comment.
Why not, Skip has been running his trap all over the place the last few days....the Advocate can't get a quote out of him?

Lombardi has made some great hires in his career including Spurrier, Billy Donovan, and their great AD Jeremy Foley. If people (good ole boys) stay out of his way and let him do his job, he is going to be a real asset to LSU.

It would be a GREAT tribute to LSU if Pelini get that job.......

Good article... funny how people take perception as reality when it comes to Les Miles going to Michigan. I fully expect Miles to listen to both LSU and Michigan and make the best decision for himself and his family.
If the powers that be at LSU show a committment to Miles to remain the head coach of the Tigers I think the chances of him leaving are diminished greatly... in no way Miles to Michigan is a "done deal".

Doesn't Miles have an incentive to go, just based on the large # of fans that are like "let him go, we can get someone better?"
If you had local radio guys like Ott calling you Leslie after your 3rd 10 win season, what's the reason to stay?

I think he has embarrassed many in the Admin with his goofy comments that his support is minimal.

I would be scared of Les if he let the internet and a local radio host with a itty bitty share of radio market determine his future.

Great news if in fact this is true.

Not sure what you are talking about... Michigan would never even consider Miles if they thought he would embarrass their precious university.
So, are you saying Bertman, Lombardi, and O'Keefe are pushing him to the Maize and Blue?

Ott - will never be anything more than a 3rd rate ham & egger trying to sell what he calls a radio show. There's a reason for this.
Les Miles - about to take his dream job up in Ann Arbor regardless of what schmoes like Ott call him.
