Its pretty obvious. Recruiting is all about connections. Does he have anyone currently on his staff with connections there ? If not he is brand new with a solid but not great track record and going against Saban, Dabo, Kirby, O, and Kiffin in a general area. Mullen at Florida is turning in a big class and that area is saturated. Auburn is tough. Not far from Georgia and sharing a state with Saban. Mississippi kids stay home a lot and Kiffin is a good recruiter.

You think he will just walk in and win these recruiting battles? Based on what ? His current class of 19 three stars and no four stars ? He couldn't find even a few ? Everyone hitches their wagon to Campbell like they are trying to predict the next big coach and get some kind of internet glory. His name has been thrown out for three years now.
