He is a calming legend of a coach with values and somewhat of a brand.

He absolutely could right that ship. And, if Tee Martin is brought in as HCIW, that’s be slam dunk.

It right fricking in front of you. Grab it.

Great idea and that is how you know UT wouldn’t even think about it.

Les does not want to coach right now. Still cashing LSU checks.

You probably didn’t know that....

Yep. Let's cut the drama, please. This is the only "safe" choice for Currie now. Good moral standing and will win the East every 20 years or so. He'll bring the "10 wins, baby!" traveling show to Knoxville and schmooze them with his endearing blabber.

Amazing how this script has been re-written for Miles. Strange how this stuff happens, huh?

That's probably a great idea, especially if UT could pay him $10 bucks a year,so he could keep drawing the LSU money. win/win for both.

So Les would be working for 10 bucks a year at Tennessee or sit on his couch without 10 bucks. Makes sense.

doesn't work like that. They still have to pay him market value

Les is a nice guy,he would probably love to help UT out,and save them some money too. It's perfect.

Considering that Les was fired from his last job,he has to work his way back up.

It’s reported Les had reached out to UT about the opening. Was that just to get a raise in his unemployment compensation? Real 4D chess on that one

Les and his wife literally just bought a new house in Baton Rouge and is still getting paid not to coach. Doubt he’s seriously interested in anything

Anybody who would prefer sitting at home to working, even for the same money, is someone I don't want.

I'm not a big Les fan, but this would be a homerun for Tennessee. Would need the Martin aspect too though.

Let's say you get paid 1 million a year to sit at home.

Let's say you get paid 1,000,010 a year to work for a shitshow and uproot your family to another city.

The premise of the argument was stupid from the start.

Les has to "actively search for employment" in order to get his checks. Going for an interview at UT would look good for meeting that qualification
