UCLA has been scrambling since Peterson. DG got played by Peterson and had no serious fall back option. Dan G. is an idiot who has been in charge of UCLA's worst 10 year span in Basketball and Football since the 40s, he is also hiring his third football coach. What other AD can get away with that?

Sark was never on UCLA's offer list...UCLA never offered him, just another bogus rumor going around. UCLA has been in talks with Jim Mora Jr since this weekend. That would also be a dumb hire, but meh.

Malzahn should take the Souther Miss job. Perfect fit IMO

UCLA facilities are shitty apparently and they have no support. June Jones would be a good hire

Why is it UCLA has such a difficult time getting a decent coach? You'd think they'd be able to get someone at least decent.

Auburn has a tough row to hoe being in the state with Alabama, but they buckled down, opened up their checkbooks (j/k guys) and decided to fight.

UCLA just seems like a program that's decided to lay down and let the Trojans walk all over them.

They don't even have a full size field to practice on. Their practice field is only 80 yards. They are next door to Beverly Hills and Bel Air and have ghetto facilities. Their rivals in the hood have big time facilities yet the UCLA administration doesn't really seem to be willing to spend the money to compete.

Its starting to change, big time donors are starting to get pissed and pull funds for the basketball renovation if the football stuff doesn't get changed. The problem is the Athletic Department still thinks its the 80s and is run by incompetents. The AD needs to be cleaned out and needs some fresh blood in there. Its just a bad situation all around.

Don't know if anyone remembers but UCLA was the very first team ranked #1 in the BCS, and had 8 straight over USC in the 90s. That is how bad its gotten since then. Its a joke now. But I think the donors might just pull the plug on this search.
